Does the NDIS cover home visit physiotherapy?

Mobile physiotherapy treatments covered by the NDIS
What are the benefits of mobile physio treatment?
There are multiple benefits for having an at home Physiotherapy treatment. These include:
- Convenience.
In the past, clients had to go to the clinic for physiotherapy consultations, which could be challenging for many people. Our at-home service offers a convenient solution by allowing clients to receive treatment in the comfort of their own homes.
With our service, clients can experience the same quality of physiotherapy that they would receive in a clinic but with the added comfort and convenience of being in a familiar environment. - Assesment of home and daily life.
By having access to the client’s home, our physiotherapists can gain a better understanding of the difficulties that may arise from moving around the space. This insight allows us to tailor the treatment plan to address any specific challenges that the client may face within their home environment. We can also provide advice on how to adapt the home to better support the client’s condition and rehabilitation. Additionally, being in the client’s home enables our physiotherapists to demonstrate how to apply the treatment to their daily life and any activities they do around the house, making the therapy more practical and effective. - Comfort
Our clients often find that they feel more at ease discussing their condition in the safety and privacy of their own homes. This increased comfort level allows our physiotherapists to gain a better understanding of the client’s needs and develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific requirements. By providing a safe and familiar environment for clients, we are able to establish a better rapport and encourage them to share important information that may help us improve their treatment outcomes.
Is the treatment the same as visiting a clinic?
Our home physio service offers expert assessment and diagnosis, as well as skilled manual and exercise therapy to help you achieve your desired outcome in the comfort of your own home. Our physiotherapists come equipped with all the necessary equipment, including treatment tables, hand weights, resistance bands, massage cream, and other exercise equipment to ensure that clients have a clinical setting that is both private and comfortable.
